Judy recently took early
retirement from her career in the Courts system in BC, Canada to
devote her time to doing more of the things she loves to do and is
now writing full time.
"I started freelancing when my
children were small and then went back to a day job and writing in
my off hours. It began with bylined columns in local newspapers, on
various topics such as: local news, opinion, household tips, time
management and organizational skills."
"Now I'm writing
almost exclusively for the online market, but I still do the odd
feature for our local newspaper."
As an Electronic Book
Specialist with Midwest Book Review, (MWBR)Judy reviews non-fiction
titles. Her reviews appear on the MWBR website as well as on CD Rom,
and are distributed to public and corporate libraries and
universites in the USA and Canada. She also reviews for traditional
publishers.
Judy is a staff writer with Absolute Write where
she conducts and writes interviews with Editors or other persons of
interest to writers. She is also the board leader for the Business and Technical Writing area in the members
forum.
Currently Judy is the Manager of the Home and Family
Community of a large online content provider.
Her duties
include maintaining featured web content, monitoring discussion
areas and hosting chats on topics of interest on topics about Home
and Family. |

Judy developed, and is
instructing, an online course called Conquering Chaos - Getting
Organized Forever. This SuiteU course consists of eight interactive
lessons covering time and space management. Students get personal
feedback tailored to their own situation and receive advice on how
to manage daily life more effectively in order to get more done
without feeling overwhelmed.
Students are also introduced to
communication skills to use with the packrat family members who may
be adding to the problem of getting and staying organized.
